Sea Turtles and Climate Change

Sea Turtles and Climate Change

Playa Junquillal, in northwestern Costa Rica, set the stage for CAVU's latest educational documentary. Our challenge was to explain climate change and its effects on marine sea turtles - but more importantly, to provide real world solutions for coastal communities, not just doomsday predictions. Two months after filming, the final cut was screened in Junquillal - and copies distributed to every interested family. It is now a key component of the World Wildlife Fund's Climate Change Toolkit and distributed to communities throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
